I had seen the Blackout Watch by Michael Kors (MK360) but it being ceramic and Michael Kors it cost around $400. Way more than I would ever consider spending on a fashion watch. So instead I looked for a cheap alternative with a comparable look, specifically the all black dial and black hands (impractical for easily reading the time but really cool looking :-)). What I found was the Adidas Cambridge Stones Watch. So plastic instead of ceramics and Adidas instead of Michael Kors, but one less zero on the price tag, and still black hands and a black dial. I was curious to see whether it would look impossibly cheap and/or gaudy but was very pleasantly surprised. In my opinion it looks a lot more expensive than its price, also due to the fact that the case is a substantial 11.5 mm thick, which is the equivalent of almost a half inch thickness. The...
